Printed at the Kelpra Studio, London. Edition: 40. Image Size: 25.5 x 51.1 cm.
This work was produced for a portfolio of screenprints commissioned by the ICA in 1963. The idea for this project came from Richard Hamilton; he selected 24 artists, including Gordon House and Paolozzi, to each produce a screenprint with Chris Prater at Kelpra. The completed portfolio was then exhibited at the ICA in November 1964.
Collection: Tate Gallery, London, and The British Council.
Reference: 'Gordon House Editions (1961-1981): A Complete Catalogue of the Graphic Works', Cat No. 6.
We are very pleased to announce that we have recently bought the studio of Gordon House which comprises an almost complete archive of every print House ever produced. Please contact us for further details. |
